Sony Ericsson Released Two New W205, W395 Walkman

– Sony Ericsson released two new walkman music handsets – W205 & W395 lending a vogue and variety to company's niche. During the release of music handsets, Sony Ericsson GM, Sudhin Mathur said, "Being the pioneer in the music phone category, our 'Walkman' phone range has universally been lauded for the quality music experience offered. The basic premise behind the launch of the affordable Sony Ericsson W205 and W305 Walkman phones is to further extend this experience to those who love portable music but have never had the Walkman phone experience."

Features of W205 handset – The walkman will offer users to connect with their friends, relatives and family by maintaining a privacy level as well as creating separate personalized contact lists. Equipped with 1.3 MP camera, TrackID, Bluetooth functionality, FM radio with recording, GPRS and EDGE features, 1.8 inch display boasting 65k colors, 128X160 resolution, M2 card support, 1 GB memory card, W205 is available with HPM -64 Bass Reflex headphones. The handset is priced at Rs. 5,795.

Features of W395 handset – As compared to W205, this is lightly more higher ended having HPM -62 stereo headphones. Equipped with GPRS & EDGE features, FM radio, Motion gaming support, PlayNow, TrackID, 2 inch TFT LCD boasting 256k colors, 176X220 resolution pixels, Bluetooth functionality with A2DP, Built in stereo speakers, A2MP camera, 1 GB memory card and M2 card support, W395 is priced at Rs. 8,395.
